The Mayor of the southern Hungarian town of Asotthalom, Laszlo Toroczkai, has unveiled a “preventative action package” of laws to make it clear that people worshiping Islam and left-wingers are not welcome. The controversial plans are to ensure the village does not have to bow to the European Union’s mandatory migrant quotas.
Knights Templar (h/t Rob E) It was Mayor Toroczkai who first proposed building a fence to guard Hungary’s border, an idea rapidly taken up by the country’s government. And now his latest proposal to use the law as a weapon against the threat of Islamification is spreading too. A number of other towns have indicated that they want to do the same, while in neighbouring Slovakia a raft of new measures have just been announced.
The new rules, which were announced on the town council’s social media page, contained a personal message from the mayor, which read: “Instead of looking for a scapegoat, I offer an immediate solution, a defence against the forced mass resettlement of Muslim migrants by Brussels.
Today the Asotthalom village council adopted my proposal – which is an action package – to defend our community and traditions from any plan for the outside resettlement of Muslim migrants.
“All that needs to be done is for the rest of Hungary’s municipalities to adopt our preventative action package, and with that we will have defended our homeland.”
The union’s plans involve the settlement of 160,000 mainly Muslim asylum seekers across the continent, 1,294 of which would be moved to Hungary from Italy and Greece.
