UNDENIABLE PROOF – ALLAH LIED IN THE QUR’AN

Thanks to well-researched scholarly articles by devoted men and women on the subject of Islam, the truth about Islam is exposed as never before. Articles that expose Islam are easily available today on the Internet. However, Muslims claim that all these articles are based on lies. They deliberately make such claims even though what is written is based on their own Islamic sources. Such claims are made to deceive all those who are not familiar with the teachings of Islam. Muslims easily lie with an untroubled conscience because they are sanctioned to do so according to the teachings of Allah in the Qur’an. When Muslims lie, they emulate the deity whom they worship. We will use both the Qur’an and authentic Islamic sources to prove beyond doubt that Allah is a liar. By the conclusion of this article, it will become evidently clear that Allah lied in the Qur’an. Let’s begin.

According to the Qur’an, the final miracle that Allah performed was “the miracle of the coming out of a huge she-camel from the midst of a rock.” You can read about this final miracle of Allah in the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 7:73: “Indeed there has come to you a clear sign (the miracle of the coming out of a huge she camel from the midst of a rock) from your Lord.” (Hilali-Khan)

And the Qur’an goes on to state that immediately following this miraculous event, Allah stopped sending miracles to mankind. Why? Surah 17:59 provides the answer. In view of the importance of this Qur’anic verse, we have provided four different translations below:

Surah 17:59: And We refrain from sending the Sign, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camelto the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror. (Yusuf Ali)

And what stopped Us from sending the signs except that the previous people disbelieved in them. And We sent to Thamud the camel with foresight, but they did her wrong. And We do not send the signs except to make them fearful. (The Monotheist Group)

And nothing prevented Us from sending the miracles except that the earlier ones denied it. And We gave Thamud the female camel, a visible sign, then they did wrong to her. And We do not send the miracles except as a scare. (Ali Bakhtiari Nejad)

Nothing hindered us from sending thee with miracles, except that the former nations have charged them with imposture. We gave unto the tribe of Thamud, (at their demand), the she-camel visible (to their sight); yet they dealt unjustly with her: And we send not a prophet with miracles, but to strike terror.” (Sale)

As we can see, the terms “signs” and “miracles” are used synonymously in the above Qur’anic verse. Both denote the clear observable miracles of Allah. The sign or miracle in this specific instant was in the form of a she-camel that Allah miraculously caused to appear out a rock. The miracle was sent to the people of Thamud to move them come to their senses and turn to Allah in repentance. However, they mistreated the she-cameland killed her unjustly. After this tragic event, Allah decided not to send miracles any more in the future.

It is hard to imagine how Muslims can actually believe in this excuse of Allah. Allah is in effect saying: “We do not do miracles anymore because the people of Thamud killed our she-camel.” This is as lame as it gets. We can almost feel a sense of defeat in Allah at the hands of mere humans. Read the above Qur’anic verse carefully once again. It clearly states:

We refrain from sending the Signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false.”

This is another error in the Qur’an. Contrary to the claim of Allah, myriads of Jews and Christians of former generations” who lived before the time of Muhammad expressed strong faith in the miracles performed by Moses and Jesus. And today millions more continue to exercise faith in the miracles recorded in the Bible. The Qur’an itself admits that even the magic practicing priest of Egypt abandoned their demonic practices and turned to the true God when they witnessed the powerful miracles performed by Moses. (Surah 7:113-122)Even under threat of death by crucifixion at the hands of Pharaoh, the repentant sorcerers replied:

Surah 7:125: “For us, we are but sent back unto our Lord.” (Yusuf Ali)

This clearly proves that Allah lied when he said that peoples in the past did not believe in miracles. Allah concluded Surah 17:59 on a bitter and threatening note:

We do not send the signs except to make them fearful.”

m“We only send the Signs by way of terror.”

This means that if at all should Allah send any Signsin the future, it will now be “by way of terror.” In other words, there will be no more uplifting miracles such as restoring the sight of the blind or healing the leprous or bringing back the dead to life. Without miracles, Allah now wants to terrorize the unbelievers into submission. Even in this attempt of his, Allah fails. In the very next verse Allah admits that even this act of terrorizing the unbelievers only increased their transgression:

Surah 17:60: “We put terror and warning into them, but it only increases their inordinate transgression!” (Yusuf Ali)

As we have noted, Allah clearly lied in the Qur’an when he said that the people who lived in the past did not believe in the miracles sent by God. However, this dishonesty of Allah is trivial when compared to the lies that we will be discussing shortly. There are much more stronger evidences in the Qur’an that thoroughly expose Allah as a liar. We will now consider these evidences.

THE LYING DEITY

We will now analyze the implications of Surah 17:59carefully. A diligent study of this Qur’anic verse will reveal following facts:

One: Surah 17:59 clearly reveals that Allah has “stopped sending miracles”after the people of Thamud killed his miraculous she-camel. This means that long before the coming of Muhammad, Allah has already decided to stop sending miracles to mankind. Therefore, according to this Qur’anic verse, Muhammad could not have performed any miracles. This means that each time Muslims make the claim that their Prophet performed miracles, they are also at the same instant proving their Qur’an false – specifically the verse in Surah 17:59.

Two: Surah 17:59 identifies the specific reason for Allah’s decision not to send miracles anymore. It clearly states that Allah found it pointless to perform miracles anymore “because the men of former generations treated them as false.” In other words, Allah has stopped sending miracles because people in the past did not believe in them.

Three: Surah 17:59 reveals during which period of timeAllah made this decision to stop sending miracles.

We will now examine Surah 17:59 in greater detail. This examination is vital to prove beyond doubt that Allah is a liar and the Qur’an is a lie. We will begin by first identifying the name of the Prophet who was sent to the people of Thamud during the memorial event of the miraculous she-camel. Knowing this detail is absolutely important for our discussion:

Surah 7:73: To the Thamud people(We sentSalih, one of their own brethren: He said: “O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear (Signfrom your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you:So leave her to graze in Allah’s earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment.”

Surah 7:75: The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless – those among them who believed: “Know ye indeed that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?” They said“We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him.”

Surah 7:77: Thenthey ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: “O Salih!Bring about thy threats, if thou art an apostle (of God)!” (Yusuf Ali)

As the above Qur’anic verses reveal, it was the ProphetSalih who was sent to the people of Thamud. As a result of the insolent act by the people of Thamud, Allah stated in Surah 17:59 that he will no longer send miracles to mankind after this tragic event. Even though the Qur’an does not specifically mention at which period of time the Prophet Salih was sent to the people of Thamud, we can say with certainty that it must have been before the time of JesusChrist. Why do we say this? This is because according to Muhammad himself, no prophets were sent to mankind between the time of Jesus and Muhammad. In other words, the only prophet who was sent after Jesus was Muhammad.

Sahih Muslim, Book 030, Hadith Number 5835:

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: I am most akin to Jesus Christ among the whole of mankind, and all the Prophets are of different mothers but belong to one religion and no Prophet was raised between me and Jesus.

The above Hadith clearly states that “no Prophet was raised between (Muhammad)and Jesus.” Therefore, the Prophet Salih could not have been sent after the time of Jesus but before. Otherwise, it would place the ProphetSalih between Jesus and Muhammad. Hence, Allah must have stopped sending miracles long before Jesus set foot on earth. Yet, the Qur’an teaches that Jesus performed many miracles through the divine backing of Allah. It even describes some of the miracles he performed:

Surah 3:49: And I (Jesus) heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah’s permission(Shakir)

How can this be possible when the Qur’an states that Allah has stopped sending miracles long before the time of Jesus? This proves that the testimony of Allah in the Qur’an claiming that he was the source behind the powerful works of Jesus is an absolute lie. By his own admission in the Qur’an, Allah could not have empowered Jesus with miracles. He simply could not be the originator of the miraculous works of Jesus. Allah lied in the Qur’an. This raises a vital question. Who then is the source behind the powerful miracles of Jesus? The Bible clearly identifies the true source behind the powerful miracles that Jesus performed while on earth:

Acts 2:22: “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus the Nazarene was a man publicly shown to you by God through powerful works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, just as you yourselves know.

Acts 10:38: HowGod anointed Jesus of Nazareth with Holy Spirit and with power.Jesus went through the land doing goodand healing all those oppressed by the DevilJesus did these things because God was with him.

The true source behind the powerful miracles of Jesus Christ is the God of the Holy Bible whose name is Jehovah. Not only did Jehovah cause the miraculous birth of Jesus but he also empowered Jesus with the divine ability to perform many powerful miracles. As we have noted, the Qur’an highlights the specific miracles performed by Jesus in Surah 3:49.Muslims who accept the miracles of Jesus in the Qur’an as true must also accept the fact that Allah is a liar. How are Muslims going to reconcile Allah’s statement to the effect that he has stopped sending miracles long before the time of Jesus with his claim in the Qur’an that he empowered Jesus with miracles? Which of these two statements is correct? Is it not obvious that Allah is a lying imposter pretending to be the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Allah clearly lied in the Qur’an when he stated:

Surah 2:87: “We gave Jesus, son of Mary, profound miracles and supported him with the Holy Spirit.” (Khalifa)

This also raises vital questions regarding the source behind the inspiration of the Qur’an. Can Allah who has stopped sending miracles long before Jesus set foot on earth and Jehovah who performed many powerful miracles through Jesus be the same God? Certainly not!

This means that either Allahor Jehovah is the true God – not both. Muslims simply cannot ignore this vital issue since the Qur’an itself acknowledges that God performed many powerful miracles through Jesus Christ. (Surah 3:49 and Surah 2:87) And the Qur’an itself acknowledges that God caused the miraculous birth of Jesus. (Surah 19:19)Therefore, the Qur’an identifies the One who performed these miracles as the true God. As such, Allah exposes himself as a lying impostor in the Qur’an. Since Allah is the author of the Qur’an, it is evident that the Qur’an is not the product of the true God. Ironically, the Qur’an itself proves that it is not the Word of God. Muslims must honestly reflect on this serious accusation leveled against the Qur’an if they value their salvation. Muslims must decide between the Qur’an and the Holy Bible. Muslims must decide between Allah and Jehovah.

THE MIRACLE-LESS PROPHET

There are more than twenty Qur’anic passages which show that whenever Muhammad was asked to perform miracles, he either remained silent or else confessed that he was unable to do so. The excuses given in the Qur’an was that he is just an ordinary human messenger.” And also that he is “simply a warner” with no special powers to perform miracles. Among the most explicit of these admissions in the Qur’an are the following Qur’anic verses:

Surah 13:7: The unbelievers say, “Why has God not sent him, (Muhammad), some miracles.” Muhammad, you are only a warner. For every nation there is a guide. (Sarwar)

Surah 17:90-93:They said, “We will not believe you unless you cause a spring to gush out of the ground. Or unless you own a garden of date palms and grapes, with rivers running through it. Or unless you cause masses from the sky, as you claimed, to fall on us. Or unless you bring God and the angels before our eyes. Or unless you own a luxurious mansion or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory be to my Lord. Am I any more than a human messenger?”(Khalifa)

Surah 29:50: They say, “Why a miracleis not sent to him from his Lord.” Say, “Miracles are in the hands of Allah. I am simply a warner.” (Sarwar)

Well, what about the claim that the Qur’an is indeed sufficient as a miracle? Contrary to the claim by Muslims, the Qur’an did not fascinate or impress the contemporaries of Muhammad:

Surah 21:5: They have said, “It, (the Qur’an), is only the result of some confused dreams. He is only a poet. He should show us some miracles, as the ancient Prophets had done.” (Sarwar)

Even though the Qur’an was revealed in their own native tongue, the contemporaries of Muhammad were unimpressed by it. They swore that if Muhammad could only perform “a miracle” before them, they would then believe in the Qur’an as the Word of God. Just a single miracle was sufficient. But there were none:

Surah 6:109: They swear by Allah that if a miracle comes to them, they would surely believe in it (the Book). Say, “All miracles are with Allah. What can make you understand that even if a physical miracle came to them, they will find other excuses and still not believe? (Shabbir Ahmed)

All the above Qur’anic verses prove that Allah did not perform any miracles through Muhammad. In short, Allah could not and did not empower Muhammad to perform miracles. When Muhammad was questioned by his contemporaries as to why he could not perform miracles, Allah could not answer them with a miracle. When demanded to produce miracles, Allah dodged them by saying: “I have stopped sending miracles, as people in the past did not believe in them.” However, to hold his audiences captive, he talked about the past miracles which he supposedly performed through Jesus and other ancient Biblical prophets such as Moses.

This deceitful behavior proves without a doubt that Allah cannot be the true God. Note carefully how the miracle-less Allah evaded the challenge raised against him to produce miracles. He drew attention to the miracles in the Holy Bible and stated that these miracles are sufficient evidence of the truth. Four different translations of the following Qur’anic verse are provided below:

Surah 20:133: And they say: “If only he brought us a miracle from his Lord!” Has there not come to them (as a sufficient miracle) a Clear Evidence of the truth in what is to be found in the former Scriptures? (Ali Unal)

They say: “Why does he not bring us a Sign from his Lord?” Has there not come to them the proof of that which is written in the former papers (Scripturesthe Torah and the Gospel). (Hilali-Khan)

They say: “Why does he not bring us a sign from his Lord?” Has not a Clear Sign come to them of all that was in the former Books of revelation?(Yusuf Ali)

They said, “If he could only show us a miracle from his Lord!” Did they not receive sufficient miracles with the previous messages? (Khalifa)

As clarified in the translation by Hilali-Khan, the “formerBooks of revelation” are none other than the “Torah” and the “Gospel.” Thus, the Qur’an itself confirms that accounts of authentic miracles or signs can only be found in the Holy Bible.Needless to say, the source behind those miracles must be the One who inspired the Holy Bible. The Bible identifies him by name as Jehovah. If Muslims need to know anything about miracles, they must heed the Qur’an’s advice to look for them in the Holy Bible.

As we have seen, not only Allah failed to perform any miracles through Muhammad but he also lied to cover up his failure. The Qur’an itself proves that Jesus Christ performed many powerful miraculous works long after the time of the Prophet Salih. This confirms the fact that Allah lied in the Qur’an. Muslims must realize that it is not an outside source but the very evidences provided by the Qur’an itself that proves Allah is a liar.

WHO IS ALLAH?

Who then is the lying deity behind the inspiration of the Qur’an? The Bible provides the answer:

John 8:44: “You belong to your father the Devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own character, for he is a liar and the father of the lie.”

The Bible identifies Satan as a “liar and the father of the lie.” And as we have seen, there are irrefutable evidences in the Qur’an itself that proves Allah is a liar. He lied in the Qur’an. This fact alone is sufficient to identify who Allah really is. And this also gives us convincing reasons to reject Islam. Interestingly, Allah owns up to the fact that he is Satan. THE GOD OF TRUTH

In contrast, the Holy Bible tells us that it is impossiblefor Jehovah God to lie:

Hebrews 6:18: “It is impossible for God to lie.”

Titus 1:2: “Based on a hope of the everlasting life which God, who cannot lie, promised long ago.”

Since it is impossible for the God of the Bible to lie, then the Holy Bible which he inspired must be absolutely true. Conversely, since Allah lied in the Qur’an, then the Qur’an must be false. The Bible testifies that it is impossible for Jehovah to lie. What does this mean? It means that by his very nature, Jehovah cannot lie. He is a God of Truth. He is 100% dependable. His word is always true. His promises are always sure. How refreshing it is to worship a God of such integrity.

Christians must value and treasure this divine quality of their God. They must remember this divine quality of their God each time they read the Holy Bible. They must remember this divine quality of their God each time they pray. They must remember this divine quality of their God each time they reach out for his love. Yes! God cannot lie. What a comforting and reassuring truth. What a grand privilege for Christians to worship a God of such great integrity. What a grand blessing it is to worship Jehovah our heavenly Father. We sincerely invite Muslims to do the same. We hope the evidences provided in this article will serve as a wake-up call to alert sincere Muslims. We hope they will take the necessary steps to avoid the danger they are in regarding their eternal salvation. Salvation cannot be found with Allah. Salvation cannot be found with a deity who lies.

Shalom
