A yet to be identified young boy has landed in a hospital after he was allegedly injured by his teacher in an Islamic school in Gombe state.
It was reported that the boy was brutally flogged on both hands – which got him seriously injured in the process.
The boy’s hand which was badly infected had to be amputated by doctors.
It was also gathered that the teacher who allegedly committed the act has been arrested.

This is coming after a video which went viral earlier this year, showed students of Government Science Secondary School, Nassarawa-Eggon being flogged mercilessly by the school teachers.
The video reportedly led to suspension of the school teachers and the principal.
