UK Mirror A video has emerged of a woman being lashed in public with a cane in footage showing Indonesia‘s brutal Sharia law punishment. The woman can be heard screaming in pain in front of a cheering crowd as she takes her cruel beating before collapsing.
Nur Elita, 20, had to be taken away in an ambulance after being beaten in public outside her mosque under Sharia law. A crowd cheered as a young woman screamed in agony as she was repeatedly caned in punishment for being in ‘close proximity’ to a man she wasn’t married to.
Dozens of civilians can be seen gathering around an elevated stage and film the events on their smartphones. A masked man, whose identity is kept completely hidden, plays to the crowd by wiggling the cane provocatively near the woman’s back.
After being brought to the stage as the crowd cheered, the woman was forced to kneel down while a masked man repeatedly whipped her with the cane. She received five lashes and at the end of the punishment could be seen lying on the floor doubled over in pain. When the man delivers the fifth blow, she collapses in a heap on the stage, to the sound of applause.
In Indonesia, that bastion of Western ‘modernity,’ young boys learn how to beat a man to death after he was accused of a crime.
Also in Indonesia, here is actual footage of one of the fatal beatings of members of a minority Muslim group, the peaceful Ahmadiyyas, whom mainstream Muslims do not consider to be Muslim enough.
Three Christian schoolgirls in Indonesia were beheaded just for being Christians several years ago. Apparently, their beheader has been released from jail.
Frontpage Magazine A Muslim serving a 19-year prison sentence for beheading three Christian schoolgirls has escaped while visiting his sick wife and is still at large, Indonesian police said Friday. National Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar said Basri, 36, fled from his house in the Central Sulawesi town of Poso last week when a guard who escorted him from jail to the home left him unguarded for several hours.
The three girls, Theresia Morangke and Yarni Sambue, both 15, and 17-year-old Alfita Poliwo, had their heads cut off. One of the heads was placed in a bag along on the steps of a church along with a note reading, “We will murder 100 more Christian teenagers and their heads will be presented as presents.”
Basri said he and two others killed the girls and took their heads to the group’s headquarters as a “gift” to mark the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. The bodies, dressed in school uniform, were left by the roadside near the execution site, but the heads were carried in a backpack.
